Still a fan of TwoTwn Oyster Bar after visiting for a second time. This visit was with my cousin. We were unaware that they had call ahead seating, which is so cool! You can call a half hour before you plan on arriving and they'll have a table for you. Not something a lot of restaurants do these days. We ended up scoring a table outside and it was beautiful. The service was still great and they had live acoustic music. We tried the calamari, which my cousin described as "lightly breaded, crispy, and delicious". They put some type of aioli drizzled on the top and it really adds to the wonderful flavor. You can actually taste the squid.

Was in town on business and decide to give this restaurant to try based on the reviews. The atmosphere was very nice nice outside patio with a bar. The service was lacking we were told 15 minutes for a table which turned into 45, and then once we were sat it was another 15 minutes before I had to stop a server and ask her who was helping the stable. My wife had the salmon Gyro Gyro, which was very good. I ordered the seafood medley which came with clams muscles lobster shrimp and a spicy tomato-based linguine. That dish had no flavor. It was basically a big bowl of pasta with some seafood place on the top. I would definitely not order that dish again but may consider trying the restaurant again.

Eh. The only reason it's getting the two stars is the location and how good the food is. The food is ultra slow to come out. I mean painfully slow. Not a relaxed pace, but more of a "wow, they must really be short staffed in the kitchen and/or was my order put into the system" slow. The bar staff are incredibly slow. Just as slow as the food. The prices are outrageous. If you want to sit for hours, have two drinks and a burger, and spend crazy money then this is the place for you.

Two Ten Oyster Bar didn't disappoint this holiday.weekend! The food and atmosphere was on point. I have to say this is a definite go to spot when in the area. The oysters were fresh and Stuffies flawless as usual. My only issue that I or anyone that has been to this establishment would be is that it needs to be bigger. The line out the door speaks for itself. Getting in takes some planning and also considering that most of the seating is outside a little patience. The portions are perfect and we'll worth the wait. Our server Jessica made sure we did not get "lost in the sauce" and was always available if needed ( considering how busy they were I would give her 10 stars) I will most definitely be heading back this summer..

The food is what gets my vote! I had the Thai calamari which was absolutely delicious. It melts in your mouth. I also had the Lobster roll. Absolute perfection. Top it off with a nice strong drink and I was in heaven. The atmosphere is also great. We dined indoors because there were no umbrella seats left outside and it was a bit warm. We got a seat on the porch, which has great views of the water. There was a band playing outside and a pretty big bar. Great place, will definitely return.

My first time here and I really liked it !!! Hostess was very nice and helpful and patient in showing us the various parts of the restaurant since my mom didn't really know where she wanted to sit. So after being given a quick tour of the place and different sitting options I finally told my mom lets just eat outside because they have cool tiki torch heater things by an outside bar and umbrella tables and other tables were more like couches and very relaxed. I liked the look and feel of the place. We dined around 930pm so it was dark and couldn't see the water or boats too well, so I'll definitely come back during the day to appreciate the full sunset/water ambiance. I ordered the Jamaican jerk salmon and it was so good ! The strawberry margarita and a strawberry cheesecake. Service was awesome and our waitress was very nice. My mom ordered the lobster gnocchi and didn't realize it was pasta, and hates pasta, so the waitress offered something else for her and very quickly brought it out. (Totally my mom's own fault for not realizing! !) Best part: the table next to us brought their cute little doggie !!!!! I've finally found a place where I could dine with my furbaby so this definitely made this dining experience even better! Will definitely be returning!

Food was good! When my wife and I stepped in the door we were very put off by the hostess. "Hi, how are you?" And that was all we got. I'm not here to site see, I'm here to eat, very rude and not accommodating at all!! On the way out the door we observed another customer with the SAME expierence only she actually left the establishment! Our waitress was very nice so that made up for it a little. The food was good as well, and it came out of the kitchen fairly quickly. Tipped her 20% and departed back to Newport. If the hostess was slightly friendly and sat us where we requested then more stars would have been given.

First time visit. We sat in side restaurant Since it was in the 90's and muggy outside. By the time we left we were frozen. The air conditioner stated it was set at 64 degrees, we asked the waitress twice to adjust the temperature. Had pitcher of sangria very water downed. Appetizer of calamari served on a small plate which would have been OK but to charge $14! Entres were ok. Shared a dessert. Total bill was over $120. Pricey and quality not up to $120.

Anchored in the harbor and popped in here for a quick bite too eat and to take a break from the sea. It was happy hour when we arrived meaning $1 oysters and $3 beers! What a deal. Ended up getting two platers of 10 oysters and the fried clam belly sandwich which was exceptional. The oysters were served as a variety with labels of where they originated from. Watch hill was our favorite but they all rocked. Beautiful view of the harbor as well.

Went to go see a band play on a Saturday night in late May. Band was located on the deck, it was about 52 degrees out and we had to eat dinner with our jackets on. Drinks were way overpriced. Ordered 2 sangria's and had to supplement (mix) them with an additional glass of wine. Had two burgers, which were ok. 2 x sangria + 1 red wine, 2 burgers $60.00. Service was ok, but like food, nothing spectacular.

What an awesome meal. First time here. We will for sure be back. Had RI chowder, oysters, lobster roll and tuna tacos. Delicious! Music was great too :)

Hostess was very nice. Wait was shorter than hostess anticipated which was nice. Service was excellent. Our waitress Sam was very nice, checked in on us often and was very good. Since it was so busy food and drinks took a little bit but not too long. Food was amazingly good but a bit pricey for the size of the meal.

I went there last night for my anniversary with my girlfriend and it was a great experience. The hostess took down our name and number to text us when our table was ready which I thought was pretty cool. While we waited we had a drink at the bar and before we knew it we got a text saying our table was ready. Our server Jamie did a terrific job and the food was some of the best we ever had, I recommend everyone try the Thai chili calamari and the seafood combo and lobster mac and cheese they are all extremely good.

Overlooking Point Judith Pond (even though I came here at night and didn't get any type of view haha) TwoTen was a pleasant surprise for a date night dinner a few weeks back. Per usual, the wife and I like to order a bunch of stuff and split everything so we can try a number of things. For our visit, we went with: -Grilled oysters: They grilled them perfectly. Would say this was our favorite of the night and was better than grilled oysters we've had at 'fancier' joints. -Small plate size of fish and chips: Not greasy at all; fresh, flavorful cod and some damn good fries. -RI calamari: Above average take on a Rhody classic. Our server was quick and charming. The restaurant had a nice buzz going on and the bar seem liked it had a good vibe going on too with a game on and almost every seat taken! Plus a really solid local beer selection (they had my favorite Foolproof variety) always puts a smile on this guys face! If I'm in these neck of the woods again, I know where to turn for a some solid seafood and brews!

We went for happy hour at 5 on a Thursday and got seated right away in the nice, but hot and sunny patio area. The Thai calamari was great! Crab cakes were OK, but the main course was our favorite. Lobster Mac and cheese had just the right amount of cheese and meat. Gnocchi with lobster was also a great choice. Of the three salads we ordered the one with tomatoes, pesto and mozz was hands down the favorite, but the Caesar salad and fennel salad were also fresh, healthy options. We had great service and enjoyed our first visit.

I REALLY, REALLY wanted to like this restaurant. It's got a great location and is very near me so I honestly wanted it to become my new go-to place for a nice seafood meal. The place I'd take out-of-town guests to. Unfortunately, I was very unimpressed with both the food and the service. I hate to write this, but if you're going to spend money on seafood (which is always pricey) do so at the Matunuck Oyster Bar instead. Sorry... This is the message I received from the owner immediately after leaving my review: Andrew B: Business Owner You're a joke you clearly never stepped foot in our place and feel the need to promote MOB. Perry often comes in our restaurant as we do his and has told us that our oyster Rockefellers are the best he has ever had along with enjoying our other food. Perry nor MOB would be appreciative of your fake review as they don't need it nor does it impact ours as we had a 2 hour wait today and rave reviews. Go back from under the rock from which you crawled you phony. Instead of asking what I specifically did not like about his restaurant (and try to improve on that) he chose to be rude and defensive and claim I didn't even eat there. How convenient (and wrong) for him to believe that. Too bad. His reply pretty much sums up the problem, I think...

Came here during a late summer night and the ambience was great. We sat outside with live acoustic music in the background and watched the Rhode Island sunset. The food was great, nothing beats R.I. seafood.

  • Erin C.

Fantastic location, but after that I feel 210 is just looking to soak the tourists, so the locals get screwed with the inflated prices, the food is not consistant. Sometimes it is off the charts fantastic and other times it is so mediocare. ( I will admit to everyone, I can not spell!) I love being for the view and ambience, but the food is not the draw! Eat first (somewhere else) and then go there!

So far I love this place. Clam cakes were amazing. The tacos are full size, which is abnormal for an appetizer, and there were 4!!!! That's a meal. Wait staff is great! I just enjoyed this place. Mike played the guitar, many Bov Markey dong renditions. It was like a mini (hours) vacation.

The buck a shuck, 3 dollar drafts between 4 and 6pm weekdays put this restaurant in our short list of favorites !! Then a lobster roll to die for with lots of meat flavored with lemon and only a bit of mayo hits the spot .. One time have sat at the bar which is very comfortable. Another time we sat in the quaint porch like dining room. The table looked out on point Judith pond.. These attributes get this nice spot a 5 star rating from me!

Second time visiting TwoTen, and again it did not disappoint! We went on a beautiful Saturday night and there was a pretty decent wait (didn't know about the call ahead seating, totally doing that next time!) We gave our name and number, and got a text with a link that we could see how many tables were ahead of us, send them a message or cancel our reservation- how cool! We got seated on the outside patio, which was perfect. They had Joe Mack Sax playing some acoustic tunes and heat lamps going as the wind had picked up a little bit. We decided to just sit and chat and order some apps. The clams casino and white chowder are our favorites hands down. And we couldn't resist some raw bar, the littlenecks were perfect yet again. Don't miss out on the fried oyster tacos either - who would have thought this concoction would work, but they are amazing! The previous time we ate downstairs on the deck, it was still chilly so the windows were still up, looking forward to sitting down there now that it is nice and enjoy the perfect view! So happy and excited to find this little gem - perfect view, with delicious food at a reasonable price. Hard to find all three these days at other waterfront locations, but this place really has it all! Can't wait to come back

Really enjoy their buck-a-shuck oysters, but their shrimp cocktail are also a must. Large and dry and their cocktail sauce is my favorite of all the raw bars in the area, spicy with extra horseradish on the side. The clam chowder was good, as were the seafood entrees we had. Strawberry jalapeño margueritas are delicious, but tend to be on the sweet side. Decent beer on tap.

  • Roxanna G.

I would give the hostess a 1, but since the service was on point, I won't. Lobster roll was amazing, crab cakes were smaller in size but big on flavor.

  • Lynn L.

We were seated quickly outside when we arrived, then it went downhill from there! Service was slow - we ordered two appetizers, the first arrived 20 mins before the second but should have arrived together since they were ordered at the same time. I watched my husband eat his raw oysters and then he watched me eat my oysters Rockefeller! Then the"whole belly" clams arrived. What a joke, there were maybe thee whole clams with a bunch of pieces. It was also supposed to be a pint and was not, they were also over cooked! We should have sustained the wait at Matunuck Oyster Bar! My advise, stay away from this place!

Everything was great! Food, drinks, view & Staff! Keep up the good work! Good Martini's, fresh oyster, excellent Cod. Beautiful view of Point Judith Pond and great service! We loved this place and will return.

Forgot my husbands stuffed clams, overcooked the burger to MW when ordered MR. Food would've been better if cooked right and complete. Then server forgot all about us, had to walk out with my kids while my husband searched for her to pay our check. Good outside space, maybe better if you just do bar outside.

We had a great lunch at TwoTen Oyster Bar. The service was excellent and we enjoyed the live music and view. The gluten free menu is extensive which is a nice change from other restaurants. We started off with clam cakes (average), calamari (delicious) and gluten free calamari (very very good). The majority of the table had lobster rolls that were extremely good, generous portion of lobster and both the gluten free and regular rolls were very good. We also had the lobster mac & cheese which was a table favorite as well as a steak special that was out of this world. We will definitely be back, the view is beautiful and staff very welcoming!

First time we came was great, last summer. Earlier this summer we returned, food took 45 minutes, the server said there was computer issues, (even though it was rawbar and clamcakes) we understand things happen, even though we were still charged for our food after waiting that long. We decided to give them another chance today, bad choice. Sat there for 15 minutes and no one acknowledged the fact we existed. The place was empty. They had no excuse. I honestly will steer anyone who asks clear of this place, they do NOT know how to run a buisness. Very disappointed.

First time here, Excellent service, waitress was on the ball, great atmosphere, with live music! Oysters were $1 ea., we had two dozen, very fresh, briney and delicious!! also tried the "Oyster shooter" was really good! Definitely different.....Lobster Roll was also Excellent, best I've had up here! Will be back next time!

Thought this would be a nice place to try and was looking forward to returning in the summer. The location is perfect, but that's where the good ends. We were seated promptly, but then waited a good 10 minutes before anyone came over. I've had better service at Chili's. The server was uninformed about specials and there was clearly a lack of training. Took far too long to get our drink order taken, never mind delivered. Server was nowhere to be found most of the evening, and when she was around she was clearly frazzled and uninformed as she struggled to answer basic questions. Overall the one star is for service, or lack thereof. I'm sorry... but in a beautiful restaurant the service and food should be a priority. The food was not good enough to compensate for lack of service. I have zero plans to return anytime soon.

Actually I'm just leaving the parking lot... My boyfriend and I decided we would head down for a nice lunch. Well, nice lunch we didn't get. We did get a boat load of excuses as to why the service was poor, mind you there were 5 tables when we first sat and 2 by the time we left. The food was mediocre. Fries were good, lobster slider not so much. Lobster doesn't need to be overpowered by lemon. Crab cakes were decent but CLAM chowder should taste like clams not bacon on milk. We asked for our check as soon as the plates were cleared. We waited 20+ minutes for our check. There were plenty of people to serve the other 2 tables but our waitress was assisting the waitress of the other table that was basically done with their meal. I had to get up and interrupt the manager who was at the bar talking about wine and basically nothing and not managing his floor and people as he should and ask for our check. He walked away and said nothing the bartender said someone will be right over. No apology, just an our computers are running slow. So, yeah not returning. Poor poor service.

Totally horrific experience last night. Ate inside towards the back porch by the window. Window ledge was dirty and full of dead flies and Mosquitos. Floor and steps leading to the bar were caked with dirt and filth. Waitress had her hands all over the rim of our cocktails. Mignonette had turned and was unedible. Fish and chips was devoid of seasoning and the fries were obviously frozen and processed. Linguine with clams was a sloppy, buttery mess. Never again

Came here on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon to enjoy refreshments, food and the view. What a perfect spot! I highly recommend the oysters, all of them. The lobster salad was delicious too. Not mayonnaise-y and with chunks of lobster. I was disappointed with the fries. They were battered :( and of the frozen variety. I feel like these should come with a warning on the menu. For beverages, the tropical storm was delicious! The Bloody Mary not so much. A bit watered down and bland. The wait staff was super nice and very knowledgeable. I would definitely go back!

Dude. Yes. This place knows whatsup. I came here with friends for the first time. Bartender super friendly as was the wait staff. Also extremely attentive without being annoying. Love the buck a shuck and the deals on drafts. Way to be. I love going to a place and not paying for the view which they have. Cant wait to try that outdoor patio. Wouldve given it five stars had it not been for the shoddy entertainment that was blaring in my ear the whole time. Im definitely coming back!

Went here for the first time for a Saturday lunch. Everything we had was delicious. Along with our meals, we ordered a sampling of oysters...now usually, I am not a huge fan of oysters (or raw bar in general), but these were enough to make me change my mind. Sweet, delicious, and no grit, had to have been picked that morning! I particularly enjoyed the East Beach Blondes and the Watch Hill varieties. They were so good I wish we had ordered more. I deducted a star for two reasons. One, I thought their specialty cocktail menu was a bit overpriced...only other place I have seen signature cocktails in this price range is at the Ocean House in Watch Hill. That being said, the cocktail was delicious (but stick with their beer menu if you don't want to spend a small fortune on drinks). Also, when we ordered the lobster sliders, we didn't expect there would be only two on the plate for the price charged. That being said, the food was delicious, the oysters were to die for, and it's in a pretty location in Stone Cove. Definitely will return. Would recommend it - especially their raw bar.

Hate to start off with a negative, but might as well get it out of the way... The wait is ridiculous. (Because it always seems to be slammin'!) HOWEVER... It is sooooo worth it. The lobster roll is the best I have ever had. Fried oyster tacos - unbelievably good. Live music (I think the band was Luna???) - Awesome. Fabulous wait staff, fabulous bartenders. Awesome atmosphere. Cannot wait to go back. And get the lobster roll. Because it's heaven in your mouth. Seriously, I am hungry just thinking about it.

So this was our second visit to Two Ten this spring and we were impressed both times. The service was kind and prompt. Our food was delicious and served quickly, even though the place was quite busy. My Caesar Salad was big and well dressed and my Lobster Salad roll and fries were great. My wife really enjoyed her fish and chips. Though we didn't have cocktails today, the cocktails were great in the past. Our server, Giovanna was terrific. I noticed a bad review recently.....it happens. But most of our friends go to Two Ten and everyone loves it there. You can't beat the atmosphere and the tons of convenient parking. Give this place a shot.....you won't be disappointed.

Located at a marina, this place has a nice view during the summer...I'm just not sure how this place will survive during the winter. I had a stuffie that was ok, with one clam in it...and it was 4.50. The Burger and fries were ok...not cooked to my order and was 12 dollars...the craft beer I ordered was 7 dollars a bottle...this might work when the tourists are here, but it won't keep the locals when the weather gets cold. The quality was ok...there was nothing wrong with it, just nothing to justify higher prices than competitors around town. Service was friendly and helpful. Overall, ok, but I've experienced better.

I think this is going to be the new place in South County. I cannot believe how well they transformed the restaurant. I was only here for drinks, but based on the clientele and atmosphere, I am very impressed. Looking forward to trying out their food, and I will review again. Also, A+ on the downstairs bar!

Dined here Friday night with my girlfriend and it was a great experience... Much better this time around than a previous dinner. Our server Ariel although very busy, was very attentive and helpful. She recommended the swordfish special and my girlfriend ordered a lobster roll... Very happy with both. She checked on us frequently without being a burden and were never left with any empty glasses. Restaurant has gotten better since the opening last summer. Overall, I'd say service and food has greatly improved.

Oh man - i am here with celebrating Mother's Day with my mother and family. I fee like a bug caught in a spider's web. A local DJ spinng/singing sings about making love on Mother's Day mixed in with other hip hop and R&B hits cranked so loud that we can't hear eachother talking at our table. 5pm at a restaurant on Mother's Day should feel different than 10pm at a night club. I have no idea if the food is any good but so far, this sucks. UPDATE: I have only used Yelp twice to post reviews and I don't see how to respond to your comment Andrew B. of TwoTen Oyster Bar & Grill, but I wanted to address what you said. "I'm not entirely sure what you are referring as we do not have a DJ at our location at all ever." There were 3 singers downstairs playing along to pre-recorded tracks. You can call them whatever you like. So to clarify my initial review: 1. The volume was BLASTING so much so we couldn't hear each other at the table - and we were near the back of the room. 2. They were singing about making love and something about "what you do to me" - while my family and I were together celebrating Mother's Day. "My apologies if you do not like the music but there is indoor seating where there is no live entertainment." 1. I'm a professional music and I love music and bands of all types. It has nothing to do with whether or not I like it. 2. I didn't want to sit inside. It was beautiful outside. We made reservations for 5pm and sitting downstairs (location wise) was special. "If you asked for the manager Spencer he would have made sure you were taken care of. In the future if you have any issue we encourage you to ask for our manager Spencer Murray." 1. I told our waitress (I believe her name was Amanda). She spoke with the group and they turned down some - enough that we didn't have to scream to hear each other. 2. Imagine how my party would have felt if I had to call the manager over. Far better to kindly speak to our waitress and trust her to handle it the way she felt was best. I didn't make a scene. 3. If you ask her, she will confirm that we were all kind to her and empathetic. My wife and I were in the food service industry and know not everything goes smooth. 4. I asked for chicken parm on a gluten free roll without sauce and they put sauce on it. We laughed because we thought the music was too loud for her to hear our order. 5. She was awesome and we left a 25% tip in spite of our experience. Thanks for replying but we won't be back. Sad that you didn't see our review as an opportunity to address volume and love making Mother's Day music.

Have to say that the wife and I went back to Two Ten Oyster Bar and again we were very pleased with the results. Jessica (server) was fantastic! Food was outstanding and the gentleman playing acoustic was a great guy ( had a nice conversation with him) ... RI Calamari was perfect! Seafood Medley awesome! Wife had Linguine with clams and loved it! Pasta was perfect Al Dante and portion size just rite. We're not professional critics but what we do enjoy is our Sunday together to ride the scoot and find nice places to eat and relax! Two Ten is tops in our list now after our second visit. P.S. Try the bacon Bloody Mary with shrimp garnish!!! Very tasty. Next time I'll have to try one similar but with my Tito's vodka... Can't wait to return!!! I'd like to know if we did the seating correctly though? Upstairs patio was full so we went downstairs and another server was cleaning a table, asked her for that one but she'd already had a foursome waiting told us of the table by the singer was being cleaned off so we went over and sat down?? Nobody complained and we had a fabulous time again. Food was prompt also!!

Our second visit almost one year since the last where we up and walked out. Service continues to be an issue here at 210. We walked in and went directly to the lower level deck bar where the sign states clearly please wait to be seated... Watched as two waitresses ignored us standing there for several minutes while one looked to be counting tips at the end of the bar. Pretty hearty crowd yet not too too busy at all. We finally gave up, turned and went upstairs. We approached the outside patio deck where we were not even greeted and had to ask the bartender "are you guys open." The response was a simple "yes." We said we will just sit over here to which the bartender said "well they (20 plus employees) are having a pre-shift meeting they will be with you in a bit. Why do I care about a pre-shift meeting? Ten minutes later they entered the bar and had to be summoned to our table. Waitress was pleasant and courteous enough and provided excellent service one we got down to business. Same deal as last year here..... Minimal sense of urgency on attending to customers, Clueless as to velocity and awareness of customer needs. Food I must say was a 10 out of 10. Wife was super super pleased with her salad and my Lobster Sliders were the Best I've ever had... Two stars is again "for your development." Get a clue on customer service because quite frankly your killing yourselves!

My girlfriend and I went there for dinner the other evening. We started our meal with oysters and little necks on the half shell which was very fresh and tasty. For our main course my girlfriend selected whole bellied fried clams with french fries and I selected baked stuffed shrimp with mashed potato and vegetable. The whole belly fried clams were very tasty but we're a tad overcooked and a little on the greasy side. The french fries we're premade and not seasoned. My meal the big stuffed shrimp was a little undercooked the stuffing was basic and tasteless the mashed potatoes were instant, the vegetable lacked seasoning. For the price they charged the french fries should have been home made as well as the mashed potatoes should have been home made as well what does it take to boil some potatoes and mash them. The wait staff was very attentive but the food was very slow to come out of the kitchen. The other big drawback that I found was the lack of a proper amount of rest rooms for the restaurant. There was only one toilet per gender which made for long lines. They also had an issue with a POS system that extended our stay by 15 to 20 minutes well when manager repaired the problem. I intend to give them another try and will update my post.

I have been to TwoTen multiple times now and can't say enough great things. The GM Spencer goes way above and beyond with the menu, drink specials and customer service. The location is amazing and so is the service. They have utilized off-season specials to cater to the local South County crowd. Great kitchen in a beautiful spot. Try a few of their martini specials... trust me.

I've been told the food is excellent, but I would know since after almost a 2 hour wait I didn't get a chance to even have a piece of bread Went to 210 Oyster Bar for dinner with my family 8 of us they wouldn't take reservations, but they told us to call back and they will see what they can do. So we did and we went. We got there they said there other people in front of you it will be 45 minutes for the inside dining room..We said ok went outside at bar and waited .. A half hour later we checked on how long it would be...Again they said it will be 45 minutes. We wait some more another half hour goes by we check again they say 45 minute wait..Still!.. A table opens outside we say we'll take that one if they can put a heater near us they said ok no problem. The table cluttered with stuff and soaked from spilled drinks which is expected after a dinner...it took a while but They finally come over and clean it taking thing off it one or 2 items at a time making like 10 trips... Table is cleared but still dirty..The girl comes over to wipe it down ,and I kid you not, and comes with a paper the size of one Kleenex and about as thin and starts wiping a big double table for 8. After she does the table with that she leaves we wait to see if she is coming back to wipe any more because it's still soaked..she's not coming back we ask her to please re-wipe because I can't imagine putting utensils on this table at this point. We asked her about the heater because the sun is now setting the wind is blowing and my elderly mother was cold when the sun was on her. Waitress says she'll try but may have to get someone else to do it. We said ok no problem. She turns a knob says sorry can't do it. Goes to tell someone come back says no propane can't light it. At this point we have been there over an hour and a half and haven't had even bread yet. I'm fed up at this point ....earlier I have said lets just leave When they say they can't give us the heater which they promised earlier we say ok that's it lets go. We thought maybe because we were a large party they had trouble accommodating us However, While we were waiting for the hour and a half we got to talking to the people next to us who were also waiting (a party of 4, 2 couples) They also were having trouble with wait time It turns out they put in their name and the girl took their phone number to text them when their table was ready, but when party of 4 went to check over an hour later. They found out that the girl never even had their name on the list. "But she took my number to text me, how can they not have us on the list!" One of the women exclaimed. We got in the car and went to another restaurant and had a great meal When we got to the next restaurant there was a couple asked us weren't you just at 210 Oyster Bar...we said yes we were....the responded yeah we left too! So 3 groups all had terrible experiences there all because of service and misleading the patrons I understand they don't want to tell you it's going to be 2 hours because you may just leave so they tell you 45 minutes hope you have some drinks and have them make money. Then when they tell you you still have to wait you are already invested and won't leave Technically I guess it makes monetary business sense But you are in a service business and poor service and misleading patrons or not respecting them enough to be truthful with them is never good business There are too many good restaurants in this state to accept that kind of service or lack there of.

This is one of those tourist trap places that has managed to successfully bullshit many locals into thinking its really good. The food here isn't bad, but the attitude of the young and stupid staff stinks. They truly act like they don't give a crap that you are there, and it doesn't matter how friendly you are. Although the food is good, the prices are outrageous. I mean you have to be kidding for what you pay and get. If this were the midwest I could understand it, but you can do so much better than this place for price, and food. It's amazing what people are willing to get ripped off for when it comes to seafood in RI. Though a lot of people talk about the view, its not an ocean view at all. Just that of a marina with a lot of boats and people around. A nice view if you are a tourist, nothing if you are a local. You can do a lot better by the view as well. My suggestion is to skip this place and try the Narragansett Grill down in Pt Judith. The view is non existent, but the food and prices are the best...Crows Nest in Warwick will give you the view and the feed. Nothing special here to be sure...

Seafood was excellent, perfectly cooked, and even the dessert was great. Everyone enjoyed their food. We sat outside in front of the restaurant on a nice, slow day. Service was quick and friendly. The place really looks like a seafood place and felt laidback, from the layout to the servers' attire. The Thai and wasabi aioli calamari from the lunch specials menu was absolutely delicious.

I stopped in at Two Ten Oyster Bar with a friend for lunch during Fall Restaurant Week in Narragansett. The service was friendly and prompt. We split the lobster sliders and the fried oyster BLT wrap. I had the Rhode Island chowder as my first course. The chowder was light and flavorful with a nice ratio of clams. The lobster sliders were okay - but nothing over the top fantastic. The oyster BLT was the highlight. The applewood bacon slid in very nicely with the fried oysters and the slight char on the tortilla wrap added a nice smokey flavor to the sandwich. The fries were also very good with a nice super crispy exterior. The location and ambiance of Two Ten is fantastic and the friendly staff make it a place I would not hesitate to return to again and again.

Best yellowfin tuna. Perfectly cooked and lightly seasoned. I started with the Caesar salad and it was bright and garlicky and delish. They have a prix fix during the week, $38 for two main courses with an appetizer and dessert and a bottle of wine! I wish I was hear for a weekday to take advantage. The customer service was great especially since we had a big group and had separate checks. Would come back for sure.

Service very slow. All kids that have no customer service training. Shellfish was good/great but off menu items were cold and gross. They'll stay in business for the view for a bit but big changes needed for the long haul.

I am copying this review directly from what I placed on the facebook page for Two Ten Oyster Bar about 2 months ago.......I do want to add good luck in the dead of Winter right by the water when all the marina people are gone, and the tourist are gone. I have to say that most of the locals that I have spoken to about my expierence are not surprised, and have had similar expierences, if not worse. Over priced, over-hyped, over the top copying of "other" oyster bars in the area. Two Ten, you will never be your competiotion, but I applaud and yet cringe at your effort.... Met up with friends last Friday night. They had already ordered some food at the downstairs bar. Yes, the place looks great, yes there was staff all over the place. If I end up paying $15 for a margarita that is served in a plastic cup I expect that it would be full (bartender doesn't know how to count his pour) I would also expect that he wouldn't put a slime covered lemon on the side of my $15 Margarita :( Clam cakes were ok, kind of small in size... I like mine big, that's just me I guess. The calamari was good. Would I go back this summer to enjoy the view...yeah, I would. In the middle of winter when they are really going to need the businesses? Maybe not, especially when I get a better drink ( that is FULL ) for much less else where. I wish the business and all who work there nothing but the best. Keep the locals happy :)

I really love Buck-a-Shuck. I love sitting outside while I enjoy oysters and a cocktail. It's a wonderful way to celebrate a great summer afternoon. Allow me to also add that my server during my last visit was very poised and cordial. There's plenty of parking at the Salt Pond, the view is absolutely beautiful, and the outdoor flowers in the patio are so pretty. I'll be back next week! Your Buck-a-Shuck is one of my favorite things about summer in South County. Thank you!

Vacationing in the area and thought to give it a try based on the reviews on Yelp. We caught the Happy Hour, Buck a Shuck special at 4:00 on a weekday. Our party was myself, my husband and our two boys. The service was good and attentive although they seemed short staff. Kitchen time was very slow. We waited over 40 minutes to get our order. We did sample the raw bar specials which were good, but again slow to get to the table. For dinner I had a lobster roll which was OK, not as fresh or flavorful as I would have liked. You can easily get the same anywhere else. My husband got a burger for which the same was true, same as anywhere. My children got the mac & cheese which was very dry and came with over cooked fries. Overall, a so-so meal with a nice view. Not worth the $$$

Let me start by reviewing the service... Excellent! Ashley was our waitress and she was great; on top of things and constantly had a smile on her face- even with our party of 9. The hostess was very accommodating as well. For appetizers we got the oysters, shrimp, RI calamari, and the stuffies- all absolutely delicious. The same goes for my strawberry margarita. Now for dinner, I have to say, I was a little disappointed by my lobster roll- for me, it was a bit fishy and there was a strong celery taste, which I just don't happen to enjoy. However, my mom ordered the same and enjoyed it very much. Other meals included the tuna and swordfish specials which everyone was pleased with. I would definitely try it again- we went on the early side (5:15) to avoid a wait and to get the buck-a-shuck. FYI- this is the first time I've decided to review a restaurant. Definitely going back. Get Ashley if you can!!

While the food was outstanding, they need work on the marketing. They advertise being open when they weren't and I had to make the long trip twice. Also, we called to inquire about restaurant week and were told that it wasn't until 4pm, again, after making the long journey. The food was slow coming, but very good. Unfortunately, they didn't have most of what was on the menu and our orders were incomplete too. They have been around long enough to fix these rookie mistakes. I would weigh heavily on visiting again.

Not a big reviewer, I usually only review when something's really good or really bad. We are in the really good category here no doubt. We went on a Thurs so it was busy, but the hostess who was really nice gave us an honest wait time and she was right on, about an hour. No big deal as we had drinks outside at their bar. Our waitress was Meghan and she was great, right on top of everything. Then we got our food, unbelievable, clams casino best I've had. And both of our meals were just as good fish n chips and lobster gnocchi. Atmosphere was great, entertainment was real good we even hung around after dinner as there was no need to go anywhere else. We will be back, hopefully soon!

This place was a little rough when it first opened service-wise, but boy have they turned it around! It's exceptional! Beautiful atmosphere - you can watch the boats in the marina, plenty of varied seating, delicious food including an extensive gluten-free menu and amazing drinks. They also have the best off-season dinner special deal around - $42 for a bottle of wine, two entries, an appetizer and two desserts!

Forty minutes and still waiting for a drink. Table maybe available in a couple of hours, but we won't. Moving on!

Came today for $1 oysters during their 'march madness' special. Sat at the bar and had great service by Brendan. Also had fried clam platter and $5 martini special (which they apparently have much of the time). Oysters werw great. Martinis were great. Fried clams were very good, lightly battered, but good size full bellied clams. We visited at 2pm in afternoon and things were relatively quiet so not sure how they do with crowds, but based on this experience would repeat for sure!!

Going to have to chalk the initial visit up to a resounding 'MEH' As a disclaimer - I was more than a bit under the weather with a summertime cold, but usually a nice seaside dinner would only help such an ailment. Not quite what we ended up purchasing here. Pros: Location, location, location. As my mother, a Rhode Island Native of 50 years, said 'I've never been to this area before'. TwoTen does have the advantage of taking you down a route of Matunick that you would really have no reason to trot on unless you were a yacht owner (or a drunken dingy driver, as we witnessed from the docks. Don't booze and float y'all. If you do, have a GoPro on board at least). The spot is prime, overlooking the yacht yard and typically sporting a nice ocean breeze (I would imagine - no such breeze on our visit). The setup really has potential: Lower dock bar, classier upper dining room, and an open-air first floor patio/bar. Being new, everything had the advantage of being clean as could be. Food was about at the 3 star rating - nothing to squee over, yet nothing to bitch about either. Smaller menu than I was expecting, but it is a small seafood spot. Cons/Meh's: Though we just beat the mass of it, the wait seems to far exceed the capacity. I will chalk this up to growing pains of a new spot, but worth a note if your planning the trip. Initial experience with service was absolutely abysmal. To start - It hasn't been that long since I was a college youngin' and I still frequent high capacity bars. But this bartender gave the seediest, inner-city clubs a run for their money in inattentive incompetence. While waiting for a table, my father and I went to grab a drink and a water. We spent the entire 20 minute wait standing at the bar (approx. 10-seat bar with no standing wait) without even being acknowledged. Once we finally hailed the bartender, seemingly devoid of human emotion I might add, she delivered possibly the wateriest, worst excuse of an overpriced mudslide I have ever seen (and I've been to Punta Cana for spring break). We ordered another one later that further accentuated this view by actually being on point. If this was bar service at lunch, I am mortified to see how they handle a nighttime drink crowd. They had a band playing during lunch on a Sunday, which was a bit odd, but they were pretty fun I suppose. What did ruin the experience for me was the volume. I spent the entire lunch in silence because of the overbearing decibels being cranked out. Check the entertainment schedule if you have any intention of carrying out even a brief conversation without needed vocal surgery the next morning. Table service was fine, though the food took forever. Again, I will chalk this up to new spot and lack of management/customer service experience. Many of these problems really could be fixed on the management level. The bartender, while lacking in basic customer service skills, was heavily inundated with making service drinks for the entire restaurant level. I suspect there's some streamlining that could be done behind the kitchen doors as well. Overall, I was not impressed. With the already amazing selection of locationally fantastic spots in the Rhode Island coastal area, this place has some serious shaping up on their plate to even match the competition.

It was very busy with an hour wait so we went to the bar downstairs it was very loud and there were a lot of obnoxious people waving 100 bills at the bar - was able to snag 2 seats at the bar (score based on the crowd!) but waited 20 minutes for a bartender- those waving 100 dollars bills kept commandeering their attention - actually had to yell to get their attention due to the noise level - bar back looked like a deer in headlights Ordered the jumbo shrimp 3.50 each - they smelled very fishy but were fresh enough considering the sea side location Did not have the wine we ordered- BT recommend a comparable wine (laTour) which was passable Our table opened up outside on the first level - (70 minutes later). The sun had just set so we asked for a table in side - was promptly seated at a tiny table near the window Previous review hit the nail on the head; waitress was a stepford wife - completely devoid of any authentic emotion Lobster roll was good - big chunks of lobster meat almost no mayonnaise but lacked flavor. Stuffed scrod looked like / tasted a version you'd get from a Chelo 'a Sunday special - again no flavor Service was non- existent - will go back for drinks only for the view Food:poor Service:huh? Crowd: go back to providence/Cranston/Johnston View:awesome Ambiance: WWW3 Tasteful decorated

One of the things I love about Rhode Island is there's always a hidden gem of a place you didn't know about. Went to Two Ten Oyster Bar last night for the first time and will undoubtedly be back again. The service was great, the oysters were fresh and delicious, and you can't beat the atmosphere of being right down by the water. They also do live entertainment and buck-a-shuck oysters between 4 pm and 6 pm - can't beat that!

The staff here is very nice and the drink menu is creative but the food is NOT good. The clam roll was as tough as rawhide and the burger was subpar. This is definitely a summer drink hangout with food on the side. I'd avoid in the winter. Also the view is great in summer.

Only had apps and beer but who needs more anyway...great calamari, great shrimp cocktail...ceviche needs some kick (either more citrus or jalepeno) but decent enough. 20 oz drafts of Narragansett. Would definitely come back.

Excellent food and atmosphere. Consistency through all dishes. My boyfriend had the Clam chowder, shrimp cocktail, and a Bloody Mary. I had the lobster roll. Everything was delicious. We are in from out of town, and was looking for a local dive, and found it here!

New place, so I'll cut them some slack while they work the bugs out. There was a breeze coming off of the water so we passed the inviting outdoor patio and went inside. First impression, lots of staff. In fact, it appeared to be two to one staff to customers. They all had an almost Stepford Wives quality, including the men. All smiles and overly eager, but not very comfortable yet. This I attribute to over training by the management and little time in service. The summer crowd should knock some of the gloss off and they should become less zombie-like. They spent some money on the place; beautiful marble bar, quality fixtures and trim etc. Unfortunately, the hard surfaces, tin stools, and open kitchen combine to produce a weird drone that was tough to take. There needs to be something to knock down that sound. Drinks: The drinks were served in tall, 9 oz glass and a weak wrist pour. I guess it's not the VFW and that's what a water view and $7.00 will get you. Food: Oysters were great and shucked well. No mangled flesh, or bits of shell. Calamari was awesome, the addition of Kalamata olives gave the dish some bite. But lets face it; if you live next to the biggest squid fishery in the United States you better have a kick ass calamari. Caprese salad was tasty, tomatoes were a little weak, but it's June, not September. Service: Sarah was our waitress and she was on it. Once the veneer of Stepford Wives training cracked a little she was really nice too. So it was around a hundred bucks for three rounds of drinks and three appetisers. Not extraordinarily expensive, but not a great value either. Given the choice I'd rather be a The Matunuck Oyster Bar. We will go back over the summer and give it another look/review. Hopefully the robots will be replaced by then.

Such a wonderful spot... We happened upon it on our way back home from the beach looking for a place other than Galilee to eat. We are so happy to have found this spot! Awesome location, awesome food and awesome vibe! Our new "by the beach" spot!! FYI we had changed into nicer clothes from the beach, I would not recommend cover-up or dingy beach clothes. We ordered the shrimp cocktail (gynormous and delicious), a lobster roll (perfect), a hamburger of some sort (tasty) and two items from the kids menu; the pizza which was a thin grilled pizza and inhaled by my 3 year old and Mac and cheese which was good but not as fantastic as the other dishes. I've told tons of people already about it.. We're big fans!

If I could give zero stars I would. Fish and chips that I could have gotten from the frozen food section in a supermarket. Lukewarm fried clams so huge they should have been minced for the chowder. Tasteless coleslaw. With a location on the water, one would expect every piece of seafood to be perfect not just the raw bar.Matunuck Oyster Bar need not worry about this poor imitation.

I absolutely love this place! Everything about it! I haven't been there yet this summer, but am looking forward to it. Last year I loved the Buck-a-Shuck days and also listening to music on the back deck. The only thing that would make it even more fun would be if I could hear the music I used to enjoy relaxing to during past incarnations of this location. I would love to hear the Donovan Brothers or Ted Donovan and Eric Neff play again and would happily pay a big cover charge to hear them. One problem with the places down here in South County is that the people who manage them often aren't the people who were around a while back to know some of the music that we loved listening to. Mark Quinn was a fun Sunday institution, too. The reason the past places didn't last wasn't the music...it was not-so-great management. When you suggest one of the music acts from the past, the people who you are talking to we most likely in Providence or the Quonset area and just don't really know them. I know you don't do cover charges, but I'd happily pay extra if you would book some of the old acts that I miss. Post Summer of 2015 update - I came here a few times this summer and still LOVE the place. Although my favorite place to sit is still on the back deck, I also enjoyed the front with the fire-pit tables when the back deck was filled. I enjoyed the varied music. One night it was just DJ'd Reggae, but it went well with the fire pit atmosphere. One night. it was a mellow soloist on the back deck...guitar and singing...that went well with being able to have a conversation. I loved everything we ordered, but especially the Buck-a-shuck. If you get the fried oyster tacos, maybe ask them to put the sauce on the side. The waitresses were always very nice.

I will start by saying, TwoTen wishes it was Matunuck Oyster Bar. M.O.B. is everything TwoTen wants to be, but I feel that it falls flat. I liked going for the buck a shuck and the lunch menu (which actually had good deals). To my disappointment, they don't offer the lunch menu in the Summer. It is pretty good if you want to go for buck a shuck and $6 martinis but otherwise I wouldn't bother. The fish and chips is very good and the oysters are always fresh. Over priced and okay.

We visited TwoTen Oyster hoping for the best. Unfortunately it was a pretty forgettable experience. Our food (lobster quesadilla) was just eh. Nothing to write home about. Neither was my husband's dish. The service was fine, beer selection was unimpressive. The only thing that stood out was the decor upstairs. Well done in that regard.

We had a wonderful time at Two Ten for my birthday last week! The food was amazing and our server was attentive, friendly and helpful. We were seated at a table with a beautiful view of the cove. We started with some raw oysters which were perfectly shucked (which makes a big difference)! They run an awesome buck a shuck special that runs longer than the regular happy hour so you can actually get there in time to enjoy it! I had a delicious grapefruit champagne martini which was no word of a lie fantastic! My husband was happy with the beer selection as well. The oysters rockefeller were our favorite part of the meal; so delicious! Thank you Two Ten for a wonderful birthday dinner! We can't wait to go back! P.S. The deck looks like it would be a blast once the weather warms up! We will be back to check it out.

WOW! what a lobsta roll! I'm so excited that someone has finally added great food to this perfect location! We had a dozen oysters $1 each. All local and yummy! The chowder was amazing w/ a smoked bacon undertone.. and omg my lobster roll! FINALLY a place that doesn't skimp! and my blueberry basil lemonade (adult beverage here folks) was so yummy! Wine list rocked... I'm so excited this place is open. Just please.. oh please .. be able to push out the same great food when everyone else figures you out! Be consistent and we'll keep coming back!

My husband and I were lured to the TwoTen Oyster Bar & Grill by the "Buck-A-Shuck - $1.00 oysters M-F: 4 PM-6 PM" advertisement in the "So Rhode Island" magazine, and since it was Friday we decided to try out this new restaurant on June 27th. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were disappointed to learn that the ad was wrong; the $1.00 oyster special only runs Monday though Thursday. Regardless, since we were already there, we wanted to check out the new restaurant. It was too early for dinner - just about 4:30, so it was mostly empty inside. When we walked in, there were about five waitresses huddled around the hostess station, and not one of them looked up to greet us or even seemed to notice that we arrived, so after a pause, we decided to plant ourselves down at the bar in front of the oyster shucker for the entertainment value. There was yet another waitress sitting at the bar and when we came over, she glared at us in annoyance as if we were inconveniencing her because our presence meant she had to get up and move down to the next stool. So we sat there waiting for some acknowledgement from the oyster shucker - maybe a greeting or a "I'll be right with you folks", but there was nothing. He appeared to be training another shucker (who at least made eye contact with us and smiled) and we watched while he offered a just-opened oyster to the trainee for a sample taste. Eventually, the bartender came over and handed us a drink menu and then returned to her conversation at the end of the bar without asking if we were going to be having anything to eat. Understand, that we were two of only about half a dozen customers in the upstairs bar area and there were probably about ten waitstaff employees hovering around, so there was NO excuse for the unbelievably poor service. I expect that the waitstaff is just inexperienced and needs to be better trained in customer service. There was no supervision or management in evidence and the staff seemed to be just hanging around not knowing what to do. I can't tell you how the food was because after being ignored, we decided to leave without ordering anything. Ironically, as we walked out the door, one of the waitresses who saw us leaving shouted "have a nice day!" It will be a long while before we will be back, if at all. They definitely need more time to bring their staff up to speed. The one star I gave is for the renovation that included a beautiful new white marble bar and for the scenic waterfront location. We chose to go to the Matunuck Oyster Bar instead, where we received immediate top notch service and had a beautiful outdoor seafood dinner with an even better view.

The service problems described in earlier reviews were NOT resolved when we visited last night. We called ahead and were told a 30 minute wait. We got there 20 minutes later and it became a 40 minute wait. We actually waited 70 minutes, while 3 tables outside sat empty for 10-15 minutes with their dishes not cleared, and another tables for 8 sat empty with a "reserved" sign for more than hour while lots of people waited in line. Once seated, we waited another hour for our food. The RI chowder I ordered was arrived lukewarm and was too salty. The clam cakes I ordered were OK - nothing special, but at least they were warm. One other thing - they must get better musicians for the patio. I don't think he sang on key for a single tune! We talked to the general manager and he promised things would improve but I am not hopeful.

I have been here a few times. The first time I went I sat down outside on a beautiful summer night. It is a great location and I ordered the salmon gyro. It was amazing and I don't have enough adjectives to describe how good it tasted. Pj was my server and he was great at what he did. He made sure I had a great experience. The second time I went I went to the bar to order nachos. I was served by the bartender jake who really knew how to make an excellent drink. The nachos were at a great price for a great taste. I will definitely go back to this place in the future.

I really enjoyed my meal at this new Oyster bar. You hear so often of Matunuck Oyster Bar, which in my opinion is a slightly more refined dining experience than TwoTen. This place is situated right on the marina on the way down to the beach. It has been beautifully done inside. The oysters were great, as well as the chowder and lobster roll. They all packed a good amount of flavor. I would definitely go back.

Pros: Great atmosphere- three seating areas (patio, dining room(some tables w/ water view), screened in deck). Good live acoustic music during dinner on patio/deck. Friendly and helpful staff. Interesting dishes and cocktails- salt pond burger w/ horseradish mayo was mind blowing, lobster Mac and cheese was rich and savory with plenty of lobster chuncks, oysters were fresh. Blueberry lemonade and gin refresher were on point. Price was pretty reasonable for what was offered. Cons: Not much variety in terms of salads on the menu. Oysters took a long time to come as our waitress told us they were behind on their shucking. Certain dishes were missing ingredients that were in the description- barata cheese app(SO GOOD!) but was supposed to come with crostinies to eat it on. BBQ chicken sandwich was a small chicken breast, the bun was bigger than the chicken, supposed to come topped with mango salsa and it didn't. At the start of a busy Saturday night dinner service they were already out of things- out of white sangria, mint, and the garnish for my drink. Seemed like WAY too many staff, service should be faster if there are that many staff, maybe too many people is slowing things down? I heard from a friend they can have up to a 2 hour wait, they were full when we arrive but we just sat at the bar and where later moved to a table by a waitress. I would without a doubt come back here. The food overall was phenomenal although being relatively new they really do need to get their act together as far as having all the ingredients for all the dishes, and streamlining their staff and service, otherwise their shiny newness will wear off.

If Hanson's Landing was a fisherman's bungalow, TwoTen Oyster Bar & Grill is a modern tourist cottage. What was once dark wood is now white drywall, a local watering hole is now a tourist spot. The food is very nice our group ordered a CAESAR SALAD with salmon: Organic romaine hearts tossed with Granda Padano cheese, croutons and Caesar dressing $9 Add Grilled Salmon $8 , a SPICED GRILLED SALMON GYRO: Shredded lettuce, tomato, red onion, cucumbers, house-made tzatziki sauce and crumbled feta $17, a steak sandwich (which I believe was a daily special,) 3 NEW ENGLAND CLAM CHOWDERS: Creamy chowder with apple wood bacon and served with Oyster Crackers Cup $5/ Bowl $7, 2 Snail Salads which were also daily specials, and a CERTIFIED BLACK ANGUS BURGER: American black angus burger topped with your choice of cheese. Served on bulky roll with lettuce and tomato $13. Before these came a few plates of oysters were ordered from the raw bar. My biggest beef with the place is the arrangement of the tables. Something can be done about that. The day we came (Wednesday,) the outside area was still closed and was to be opened the following day. Too bad, as the narrow tables with bar chairs were bit distracting as they were in the way of patron and waiter alike and also were uneven so they rocked and rolled. The room we sat in faced the water and marina and was inside and what was probably a porch at one time. The restaurant was clean and neat but arranged not well. tables were placed inside and out in odd areas. One was outside the door next to our table and I wondered if they customers' table would get slammed. The outside area in the front was curious in that there was very little view and it was fenced in from the parking lot. The ground was covered in crushed shells kind of giving it that old ice cream shack feel. Still the place was bright. Every person I asked questions of knew what they were talking about and helped me out with what I needed. "Could I get some crackers?" asked of the hostess. She found some immediately and gave them to me. "Where's the bathroom?" Asked of the bartender who was busy and could have just ignored me but didn't. He pointed the way. The waitresses served our table well. The food though was LATE. We get there at noon time and didn't get our food until around 1:30 pm. But the food was delicious from the creamy chowder (only complaint: too much bacon,) to the salmon (delicious,) on through to the steak sandwich (the lady was from Texas and heartily approved the whole entree.) My burger was cooked medium when I asked for rare but it was juicy and huge. The ladies (women who would know their bivalves, were able to identify which oysters were local (the small ones that were delicate,) from the Nova Scotia mollusks (sweet and fat.) I even tried one, which I was surprised to find salty and plump but not too briny. It's obvious that this place is still attempting to get their rhythm flowing so if I were you I'd give it another few weeks before I went there. I'd expect it to be busy though since it's right off of Route 1.

My husband and I popped in here a few nights ago on a whim. We heard the live music and it piqued our interest. We were first greeted with free valet service- a great way to keep the atmosphere classy and provide a legit service. There was plenty of parking, but we utilized the valet. Since the weather was nice, we initially had wanted to sit outside inthe front "yard" area where the music was playing (think nice backyard bar feel). The bugs were really bad, so we went inside instead. What a great job they did with the decor! Very clean and modern, with a subtle rustic twist! We arrived probably around 8:30, so the dinner crowd had cleared out for the most part. There were some people at the bar. The feel was casual, but still tastefull. No beer slammin' partiers.. Our server was a nice girl, but obviously a little green. She was attentive and polite. I ordered the salmon, which came in a generous portion, accompanied by fingerling potatoes and rice, as well as a vegetable. It was delish. My husband ordered oysters and he liked them. The tray was way too big for the amount of oysters he actually got. The prices were moderate-high. We noticed a neighboring table had bread, which we had to ask for. It was warm and fresh. There were a couple of hiccups in the level of service we received, but again, this is a new place and our server was a young girl who will do well with more experience. I feel that for the pricepoint and atmosphere, should be more experienced. The biggest mistake that restaurants make is hiring newbies who offer mediocre knowledge and service with 4 star prices. All in all a great experience and great addition to south county! Definitely will be back!

Down in South County, it seems like everyone is talking about trying the 'new oyster bar'. I climbed onto the band wagon and, like everyone else, had high expectations due to good old matunuck oyster bar down the way. The place was packed when my boyfriend and I arrived, good sign. My first impression was that the views are beautiful, very oyster bar-esk. The vibe was upbeat with a couple live bands playing throughout the night. We asked to sit downstairs, overlooking the water (instead of the patio that's pretty much in a parking lot). Our wait was about 40 minutes (no complaints, that happens Labor day weekend) and upon seated my boyfriend and I were put into a secluded area on a weird side deck that servers used to get from upstairs to downstairs. I don't think the area we sat in should be a seating area for anyone. We couldn't see anything but the side of the building and the house next door. Once it got dark, there wasn't even a light for us to read the menu with! With a nice bottle of white wine the evening seemed to be turning around with some of the best calamari I've had in a while! It was perfectly crunchy and not at all greasy. I had the tuna special for my dinner and my boyfriend had swordfish. The tuna dish as a whole was okay, but taking a bite of just the tuna (with no sauce or mushroom on my fork) it was a bit bland, definitely needed salt. I will stick with my 3 star review and maybe give Two Ten another try in a few months. It didn't wow me this time around....

Staff was very friendly, food is good but the selection is weak. For a seafood hotspot I'd expect more fish options. 5 stars of they add more options

I wish these folks the best. We need more restaurants here. Note that there are really two restaurants with separate menus: a fancier place upstairs and a bar with food downstairs. However, they do let you "cross-order," at least order downstairs from the upstairs menu. We (6) ate downstairs last night and had a very mixed experience. First the good: Calamari with hot/sweet peppers and olives was excellent. Tuna (from upstairs) was excellent. Scallop special was excellent. Fish and chips were good. Child's pizza was excellent. Mussels (from upstairs) were awful. Mussels themselves were skimpy and flavorless and the broth had a really off taste. We sent it back and they took it off the bill voluntarily. Steak ordered rare had to be sent back as it arrived very well done. Stuffed shrimp were dry and pasty. Service was slower than slow -- tough when you have three children. Atmosphere was fairly raucous but hey! it's a bar.

Food was good. Service was attentive. They have dollar local oysters during happy hour which is always a plus for an oyster lover like myself! The noise level was a bit high but the view was really beautiful. Swordfish and salad were delicious. I was sad they didn't have the flourless chocolate cake since it WAS my birthday, but what can you do?

My boyfriend (who is gluten free) and I decided to stray from our usual routine and try Two Ten Oyster Bar since they claim to have the biggest gluten free menu in Rhode Island. Once we got inside it was small and cramped, and you had a weird view into the kitchen from which I'm assuming was the hostess stand (there was a high wall we seemed to be shouting over). We were seated down in the dining area, which was very loud and cramped. People were constantly bumping the table or standing awkwardly over us trying to get out of each others way. My boyfriend decided to try the gluten free clam chowder which he said was alright, but nothing special. What surprised me was that they brought over a bag of oyster crackers with his soup and spoon after being told he was severely gluten free (if the bag had opened it had crumbs on it from being in a box with broken bags he could gotten extremely sick). For dinner he tried the scallops and again said they were nothing special and didn't finish them. I had some trouble ordering because I don't like seafood (but if you don't like seafood don't go to an oyster bar-so no complaints there). I decided on the steak. The glaze was delicious, however the steak was way undercooked and hard to cut, and the potatoes were nothing special. The veggies were greasy. There was not enough room on the plate to cut my steak and not enough room on the table to ask for a second plate. All in all I probably won't come back. I'm sure the atmosphere is a lot more pleasant in the summer, but I hardly doubt the food will get better.

I wish I could give it a better review, but I really can't .My husband and I came here this evening with high hopes. The location is great, the staff is very friendly, and they have music on the weekends. Those are the positives. Sadly, the food was only mediocre at best. The oysters weren't bad, but my baked scallops were very bland and boring, and the key-lime pie came out warm and mushy. The linguini in clams sauce....bland. The stuffies....bland. I will be back to enjoy drinks and music, but i will probably stick to their lunch menu, as the dinner menu was really not worth the money.

This place offers a great atmosphere with three seating areas, exquisite decor and live music. The bartender really knows how to make smooth drinks with a variety of daily drink specials. The jumbo shrimp are the freshest and biggest shrimp in RI. The scallops were savory and seared to perfection. Perfect location and fills the void of a harbor side/waterfront restaurant in South County.

Went to visit friends in South County for dinner and ended up here at TwoTen. What a great find. The restaurant offers indoor, indoor/outdoor patio and outdoor seating on three different levels. It was a crisp, end of summer evening so we chose to eat downstairs in the closed-in porch. There was nice mellow live music, with football games on screens above the bar area. Dining upstairs is more formal. Our server Amanda was very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. She was very helpful explaining the 5 different types of oysters available and provided us with her take on each. It was refreshing to see someone so young who has tried each type of oyster and knew enough to make recommendations. Perhaps it is required of all servers. Who knows? I'd say that this restaurant is managed very well, since there were a number of servers and other staff there to make sure all patrons were taken care of in a timely manner. The food was top notch. I started with a half dozen raw oysters, three Ninigret Nectars and three Watch Hill oysters. Both terrific, though I enjoyed the Ninigret Nectars a bit more because they were less salty and a bit more buttery. Others at our table ordered oysters Rockefeller and creamy clam chowder which were delicious. For an entree, I had the TwoTen Seafood Medley of half lobster tail, shrimps, scallops, clams and mussels served in a lightly spiced, thin tomato sauce over linguini. It was served with two pieces of lightly buttered garlic bread. The taste was wonderful and the quantity of shellfish was tremendous. I could not finish it all, even as delicious as it was. Others at our table had lobster mac and cheese which looked great, and a dinner special of yellowfin tuna steak cooked to your liking, with Japanese soba noodles, grilled shitake mushrooms and a ponzu and red curry sauce which looked impressive. Needless to say, we did not have room for dessert. Everyone spoke very highly of the quality of their meal and we all were impressed by the quality of service. With drinks, our dining experience came out to $45 each which is a steal for what we ate and drank. Highly recommend you visit TwoTen and experience it for yourself.

Nice location, renovations are gorgeous. Sat at the downstairs bar. I would go back for drinks and the calamari, but they are still working out the inevitable bugs that come along with a new restaurant. Went on a Friday night and enjoyed the live music by Jason Colonies.

We ate here for the first time last week, a Thursday night. A few thoughts: Hostess stand: Nobody was there for several minutes upon our arrival, which is a little strange for a busy restaurant. When she did arrive, however, she was quite pleasant and accommodating. Server: Young, college-aged woman, mostly. Very sweet, but lacked knowledge of the menu and our server was a little flaky. Otherwise, she was fine. Food: The Oysters Rockefeller were too die for. I'm still dreaming about them, actually. Raw bar items (oysters and clams, she forgot our shrimp) were all outstanding and incredibly fresh. My fried clams were delicious, and my guests loved their lobster rolls. The drinks were great too, no complaints there. Dessert: Best key lime pie I have ever eaten. No joke. Totally awesome and I wish I had a piece right now, darnit. Parking: Lots of parking across the street, no issues there. That being said, we got there at 7:30pm on a Thursday night...would it be a totally different experience on a weekend? Not sure, but I'll keep you posted.

Very unimpressed is the bottom line. For a pricy restaurant, food was mediocre at best. Shrimp cocktail, although large, weren't cleaned well! Oysters were ok, including side sauces, but they overcharged us for them. Baked stuffed shrimp were blah and dry dry dry. Fish and chips were greasy and portion was small. Highlight of the night?...fries were good. But this isn't mcdonalds, right? Drinks were pricy and loaded with ice. Server was not too attentive to details, had to ask twice for lemon with waters and for more tarter for fish. She also didn't catch on or care that baked stuff shrimp were not good. Won't be returning!

I've been in numerous times this summer for apps and drinks. The lobster quesadilla was very good, chuck full of lobster meat. I've also enjoyed steamers and clamcakes. I've sat at all three bars, inside , downstairs and outside in the front of the restaurant. Service has always been up to par and staff is always friendly. A great place to kick back , enjoy some music and great food and drinks.

Excellent for out of towners! My boyfriend and I stayed at Eden Manor not five minutes away in Wakefield (the Eden's were lovely people). But back to the food. We actually were there on a Monday Night because it seemed like all the other restaurants were closed outside of Wakefield. We weren't sure but we thought we'd try it out. Thank goodness. The night was perfect, they had a performer with guitar playing some great 80's music. I started with a white sangria which to my taste was really not well done and when i spoke to my awesome waitress she recommended a more tasty option which turned out fantastic. We didn't have appetizers as we weren't sure of the meal portions and i'm glad. The portion is perfect. I had the scallops with shrimp over black beans ( i ordered a side of rice). I'm assuming they were trying to do a Latin dish, beans without rice won't do. They must've realized it because i wasn't charged for the rice. My boyfriend ordered grilled fish with shrimp with a salad it was yummy too. We then ordered dessert a flourless chocolate cake which they nailed. It was rich and creamy. All in all a great experience. Though i'd be aware if you're funds are low.

Clearly trying to ride on the coattails of the other local establishment with the word oyster in the name. But it falls short on several fronts. Service was rather spacey. We had to ask for silverware, napkins and a refill on water. Food was bland Special swordfish tacos had almost no flavor except for the fish which was nicely prepared. A little iceberg lettuce, teaspoon of tasteless salsa, and a couple of specks of melted cheese. No garnish or side dish. Fish and chips were rather greasy. New England chowder got a nod of approval from the almost 90- year old Rhode Islander who is a bit of an expert. Desserts were homemade and yummy. Several different indoor a d outdoor seating options which is nice.

Went for lunch on a beautiful Tuesday and sat outside. Too bad not a water view but it's a pleasant patio. Wish wicker chairs had cushions...for us shorter people we need the little boost so we didn't feel like our chins were hovering right above our plates. Caesar with grilled shrimp good. Special was fish tacos - fish outstanding but the tacos could use more crunch with some shaved cabbage and a bit more crema. Wine pour a bit stingy. Waiter pleasant but didn't inquire if all was ok after we tucked in. Will go back and looking forward to it.

This was surprisingly one of the worst restaurant experiences I have experienced in awhile. Upon arrival, there was no hostess or anyone to check you in to sit down so we sat at the bar. Service was so slow. They had about 25 empty glasses and plates on the counter just sitting there because there was not a bar back on staff. Very strange. Every so often, I would see people approaching waitresses complaining of service and food. I was hesitant to order so I ordered chicken fingers as an app. It took about 30 minutes for those to arrive and when they did, the plate dropped and all fell to the floor except one. The bartender said sorry and brought us one chicken tender to split. At that point, I was ready to leave. There was no manager or owners during the time we were there. It was being totally mismanaged by a bunch of 21-25 year olds who had no idea what was going on. Its too bad because the location is great and it definitely has potential. I would never return again.

The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing. Whether you are at the bar, or in the dining room you have a view of the ocean. Having a gluten allergy the menu offers several foods that I have not been able to indulge in when eating out. The New England Clam Chowder is gluten free, there have been fresh gluten free ravioli as a special and the clams casino are made with Panko bread crumbs. The Salmon is organic fed farm raised and has the freshest taste and the salads are organic. It is refreshing to go out and eat healthy, delicious food in a waterfront restaurant.

Went to this restaurant last night, 8/25, our anniversary. Beautiful setting, nicely decorated, comfortable seating. Started with Conch soup and New England chowder. Conch chowder was ok, hard to find the conch in the soup, but the chowder was very good - especially the smokey bacon flavor. Main course was grilled swordfish with corn relish - also very good, tender and tasty, but the red bliss potatoes served with it were very average, two potatoes just tossed on the plate - also had stuffed shrimp w/ lobster and crab - shrimp were dry and I defy anyone to find any lobster or crab in the heavily bread crumbed stuffing. Accompanied by dry rice with no flavor. The shrimp dish tasted like it was from a package and warmed up, awful for $25. Split a very good Key Lime Pie for dessert - which the waitress should have offered complimentary after we complained about the stuffed shrimp. $120 with two drinks, expensive for average fare....if you are a seafood restaurant, on the water, you have to do your seafood main courses well. We really wanted to like this place given the beautiful location, but it definitely missed the mark. We sat in the downstairs bar because we wanted to be close to the water and the upstairs scene was very sedate at the time we arrived. The singing duo was good, but much too loud and the song choices made us feel we were at a wedding instead of by the beach (Motown, Kool and the Gang-esque). The biggest knock was the service. Our waitress seemed bored, disinterested, unhappy, sullen....how many more adjectives can I use to describe her level of disengagement? She brought our appetizer plates after we'd finished the appetizer, didn't offer us any waters, rarely checked on us and it took forever for our food (perhaps not her fault). As for the food: very average Caesar salad but the salmon atop was cooked well. Kids' chicken fingers not great, angus burger just OK. We didn't feel the prices matched the quality or lack of creativity of the food. There were a few misspellings on the menu...poor form. The crowd downstairs was definitely an off-the-boat party crowd. Only when we left did we realize we should have been sitting upstairs where there was now an acoustic singer. Still, don't think we'll be back considering how consistently good Matunuck Oyster is, with the best food around and servers who actually WANT to be there. A big sit-down with your staff is a must!
